*Note I tend to get lost in thought, sometimes so much that I spiral in loops and such just trying to find a way out, but then I often realize my thoughts are where I feel most at home, and I am most alive when my thoughts rest in the great mysteries of life and particularly that of theology and philosophy.
Whom Do I Owe
by: Rev. Jacob Shaw
To whom do I owe this gift of thought,
not a particular thought but thought as a whole.
To whom do I owe for this gift, I did not create it,
nor, did I work to purchase it,
it has just been with me, my whole existence, echoing all that I am back at me,
but when I pause,
just pause.
Even the pause is a gift, and the ability to pause a miracle.
What else pauses in such a way, where pause is both silence and endless vibration.
In that pause, I experience something else, another gift.
A memory, that all that I am, what I truly am, not what the world makes me to be...
What I am, is a gift, because I was formed by His thought,
I am the gift to me, from the Ultimate of Gift Givers, the Eternal Thinker.
The First Thought, the Only thought to really think about.
so...
Pause, and then think again. What a gift!
